The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regard to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the website area regularly. The service point created for intervention activities a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a here service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
